Yesterday, YouTube for Android received its own Material Design update to match Google’s move towards its latest design aesthetic. Today, the Google app for iOS received an update with Material Design to take advantage of the larger screens on the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus.
In addition to the design update, the app also has Google Maps integration so you can interact with business locations directly from search results. There’s also a new “Recent” button for you to flip through your recently-viewed pages.
Google for iOS is free in the App Store.
