Hangouts for iOS just got a bit better, especially during those times you’re not using it.

A new share extension allows you to directly share photos or links to friends via Hangout without ever having to open the app. The Hangouts share extension can be activated from within the share menu under ‘More.’

There’s also a low-power mode for Hangouts, which automatically  shuts off video streams when your iPhone battery capacity dips below 20 percent.
