Google AdWords gets free telephone support

Google AdWords gets free telephone support

If you’ve ever had a problem with your AdWords account, then you know what a glorious pain in the tail it can be to get help. Sure, you can post things into the forums, but the chances of being seen are small. The chances of finding the right answer are smaller.

Today, Google has announced that it is adding free telephone support for AdWords members.

We’re adding phone support for a simple reason: you asked for it! You told us that while you appreciate online resources like our AdWords Help Center, you also want the option to get live, expert support when you need it. We heard you, and got to work assembling a team of AdWords experts to answer your calls.

If you find yourself needing help, it’s just a phone call away. 1-866-2Google, from 9am to 8pm Monday through Friday (that’s Eastern time, mind you) will put you in touch with an AdWords specialist. Just make sure that you have your customer ID ready.

AdWords phone support has only the US number, for now. But Google says that it will roll out the support to other countries in the coming months.
