Google has released native iOS and Android apps for its Adwords Express ad platform, a simplified version of its full-blown Adwords platform aimed at small businesses.
The launch means that Adwords Express users in the US can now manage and create ads directly from a mobile device, rather than needing to use a desktop.
Alongside the app launch, Google has added new targeting options to the ad platform which allow users to choose where to promote their business based on zip code, city, state and more. Rounding off the update, Google has also tweaked the way in which keywords work to reduce the number of unwanted searches, which it says means improved click-through rates and lower cost for advertisers.
