Google has added real-time traffic information to its maps for a dozen Indian cities, as well as all national highways and expressways in the country.
Users can now fire up Google Maps to view traffic conditions in Kolkata, Coimbatore, Lucknow, Surat, Thiruvananthapuram, Indore, Ludhiana, Visakhapatnam, Nagpur, Kochi, Madurai and Bhopal.
It’s nice to see India getting some Google Maps love. The company previously added Indian Railways schedules for 12,000 trains on Google Transit, in addition to bus and metro information for Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, New Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai and Pune.
