The Gmail app got a whole lot friendlier with iOS 8 today. The updated app now supports notification replies and archiving of messages from the lock screen, has an Open In extension and a new attachment viewer.
The Open In extension lets users send media from any other app via Gmail. Got a cool photo in Camera+? Open the share sheet and select Gmail to compose an email with that image attached.
The app also has an updated attachment viewer so you can open received files in any other app.
