Google appears to be experiencing some issues at the moment as a number of users are reporting that both Gmail and Google Drive are down.

There are also reports that Google-owned YouTube is offline for some users.

Google’s App Status page has yet to acknowledge the issue.
This is the second time in less than a week that Google’s services have experienced a disruption.
Update, 14:02 GMT:
Google has acknowledged the outage:
We’re experiencing an issue affecting less than an estimated 0.018% of the Gmail user base. The affected users are unable to access Gmail. We will provide an update by 2/1/16, 2:54 PM detailing when we expect to resolve the problem. Please note that this resolution time is an estimate and may change.
Update, 14:08 GMT:
The issue has now been resolved. Google says:
We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience and continued support. Please rest assured that system reliability is a top priority at Google, and we are making continuous improvements to make our systems better.
