Launched by responsive site builder Breezi, PlaceIt is a simple, drag-and-drop tool which lets you generate realistic product screenshots in seconds.
Simply upload your screenshot, wait a few moments and BAM: skews and glares are automatically applied to create attractive renderings, all without Photoshop.
The results, as you can see in the samples shown above and below, are quite impressive, especially when considering how little work is involved for the user. Yes, there are countless other tools for creating mockups such as these, but many of them take significantly more time and skill, and often rely on Photoshop Smart Objects, Actions and templates.
PlaceIt certainly won’t replace every designer’s mockup needs, but if you’re in a hurry or want to show off your latest site or app design to a client, this utility is certainly worth a look.
