Today was the day some people had expected Google to release an update for its Hangouts app for Android, but sadly they may have to wait a bit longer — weeks, in fact. Company product manager Randall Sarafa revealed in a Google+ post that the SMS update for Android will only be available for Nexus 5 smartphones, while everyone else on the Play Store will get the update later.
In the latest version, users will find that it includes SMS integration, location-sharing, and support for animated GIFs.
