WIRED 2012 is coming to the The Brewery in London in October. You might think this is a bit of an early call but the magazine’s first event last year sold out with more than 440 delegates in the mix, so best to get in early.
This year’s event looks set to be bigger and the line up of speakers is an eclectic mix of Web celebs and industry leaders.
Expect inspiration from the likes of Troy Carter, Manager of Lady Gaga and founder and CEO of Atom Factory, Thomas Heatherwick, the designer whose works include The Seed Cathedral at Shanghai World Expo 2012 and , Lily Cole, model, actress and sustainability champion, Ferran Adrià renowned Catalan chef known for ‘molecular gastronomy’.
The digerati are out in force for the event too, Ajaz Ahmed, Founder of independent digital agency AKQA and co-author, with Stefan Olander, of bestselling book Velocity will be there along with David Karp, Founder and CEO of Tumblr.
Mona Eltahawy, the award-winning columnist covering Arab and Muslim issues and Maria Popova, Editor of the culture website Brain Pickings will also be speaking about their work.
