As we reported earlier, the mention of “retina graphics” found its way into the Mac App Store today, by way of an app called FolderWatch.

It turns out that the company might have misspoken, or jumped the gun, depending on how you see it. In a series of responses on Twitter, BrothersRoloff looked to slow down everyone’s excitement on whether Apple would introduce Retina Displays for other Mac products at WWDC:

Personally, I think if you’re developing for Apple products, you know the significance of the phrase “retina display”, and find it very odd that the company is suggesting this was just a big “oopsy.” Of course, we’ll find out at WWDC and let you know.
