Engineering company AeroMobil plans to unveil a flying car later this year. According to Mashable, AeroMobil will debut its mysterious new prototype soon, and offer pre-orders later in the year.
It will function like a car and could run on regular unleaded gasoline. The machine’s flight capabilities are powered by “hybrid propulsion,” a combination of electric and internal combustion engines designed to keep fuel consumption down.
This isn’t the first flying car prototype Aeromobil has made, but it’s the first to be made available to the public.
The prototype is set to debut on April 20 at Top Marques Monaco, an exclusive luxury supercar show. No other details are likely to be revealed between now and then, but I can almost guarantee most of us won’t be able to afford it.
