Yahoo is combating Google+ with an update to its Flickr for iOS app, which gives iOS 7 users the ability to automatically upload the photos in their Camera Roll.
Available from the ‘More’ option in the bottom right-hand corner of the app, the new feature will save images in their original resolution and make them private by default. Users can then pick and choose how to display their images on the photo-sharing network.
Once activated, users can jump back into the same setting to choose whether the photos are uploaded on Wi-Fi and cellular, or Wi-Fi only.
In addition, Yahoo also added a new tool to its recently redesigned photo editor, giving budding photographers the option to automatically straighten their image. For manual adjustments, just tap the crop tool followed by the icon second from the left – you’ll notice that it functions in an almost identical manner to Instagram.
