Flickr fights back, suggests that you come help them become “awesomer”

As soon as Yahoo! shocked the world by announcing its new CEO, now-former Googler Marissa Mayer, suggestions, begging and pleading began to come Mayer’s way.

One of the loudest groups started a site called DearMarissaMayer. That site had one simple ask, using the hashtag #dearmarissamayer:

It looks like the Flickr team saw the plea, and has come back with its own at http://www.flickr.com/dearinternet:

It’s good to see that the team has a sense of humor, and the guts to call out “the Internet.” I guess it’s time to put your hard work where your mouth is, right?
