Fleksy 5.0 introduces Extensions, a customizable input feature, and 30 new themes

Fleksy 5.0 introduces Extensions, a customizable input feature, and 30 new themes

Beloved third-party keyboard app Fleksy today launched its 5.0 update that introduces Extensions, a new feature that allows you to customize your input options. For example, you can select to have a GIF extension, a number bar up top and color effects while typing – or any combination of features Fleksy currently offers.

Other Fleksy extension options include using Fleksy as an Android Launcher, adding an editor for cursor control and typing shortcuts for words you frequently use.

The 5.0 update will allow users up to three extensions at a time for free, with additional “Slots” available for purchase. To add extensions, users can find this feature under a new settings menu and drag and drop desired shortcuts to the slots up top.

The update also comes with a cleaner design and 30 new themes including movie-inspired sets like “The Hunger Games” or “Frozen,” if you’re into that (SwiftKey also added a “Frozen” theme this week). Theme packs start at $0.99.

The app is currently available in 40 languages, with Arabic and Chinese added over this past summer.
