The first 10 investors and accelerators for The Next Web USA Conference have now been confirmed, along with plenty of exciting content to help your startup secure its first round of funding. Click here to check out our conference schedule.

Companies include the likes of Fab, Evernote, Fortémedia and Cooliris.

Golden Gate Ventures

With offices in Singapore and San Francisco, Golden Gate Ventures invests in early-stage internet related companies seeking to increase traction in both South-East Asia and the US. Their Portfolio includes Sendah, Nitrous.io, POP and 99.co.

Insight Venture Partners

Insight Venture Partners is a leading global private equity and venture capital firm founded in 1995. The company has raised more than $8 billion and invested in more than 200+ growth-stage software, eCommerce, internet, and data-services companies. Their portfolio includes Livingsocial, Karmaloop, Hootsuite, Flipboard, Zumba Fitness and Shutterstock.

Marker LLC

Marker LLC is a venture capital firm specializing in growth investment opportunities. The firm is sector and location agnostic with no preconceptions. It prefers to invest between $5 million and $25 million. Marker LLC was founded in 2011 and is based in New York with an additional office in Herzliya Pituach, Israel. Its companies include Overwolf, Screenz, Violet Grey, Beamr, Wochit and Datorama.

Quotidian Ventures

Quotidian Ventures is an angel fund investing in companies using technology to modernize existing industries, processes and habits. Founding teams need to possess deep knowledge of the market they’re modernizing that gives them a clear competitive advantage. Their investments have included Wehostels, Brightnest, Grand st., HitPost and Snapjoy.

Silicon Valley Bank

Banking the world’s most innovative companies and exclusive wineries, Forbes Magazine ranks SVB among America’s Best Banks. The company states that its their mission “to increase innovative companies’ probability of success worldwide.” Their target industries include hardware, software, life science & healthcare and clean tech.

Index Ventures

Founded in 1996, Index Ventures is a Europe- and San Francisco-based global venture capital firm, focused on making investments in information technology and life sciences companies. They have investments in Soundcloud, Just Eat, Etsy, Sonos, MySQL, ASOS and Genmab.

Wellington Partners

Wellington Partners invests venture capital in particular in Digital Media, Software, Resource Efficiency and Biotech/Life Science companies. The company is stage agnostic, with investments in Dropbox, Hail O, Spotify, import.io and Xing.
