Felix Baumgartner has been a pioneer of aviation for years now and his latest event is a freefall from 120,000 feet—literally the edge of space. Baumgartner has been working on this jump for five years with the Red Bull Stratos team in an attempt to break the 102m800ft record set by Air Force Col. Joe Kittinger over 50 years ago.
Update: The launch has been aborted for today due to wind conditions. The wind can only be up to 2 miles an hour due to the delicate nature of the balloon and its ascent.
