When we first introduced you to Fashiolista, we told you about how it was changing the face of online shopping.
Fashiolista lets you browse online stores such as ASOS, Topshop, H&M and Mango, then use the site’s special bookmarklet to add products to Fashiolista itself.
Since the site’s introduction at The Next Web Conference’s PayPal X Startup Rally, its “Love” button has been clicked more than 1 million times, and the site has been picked up by Brazilian teen magazine Capricho. Pretty exciting news, for the team at Fashiolista.
The site’s been seeing some amazing traffic, as well, with some users claiming they are “completely addicted”, according to founder Thijs Goos.
“From our stats we can tell that some members have spent entire days on the website, loving over a thousand items and visiting hundreds of fashion stores. The level of engagement is really amazing. On average our visitors stay for over 17 minutes and visit about 20 pages”
Goos goes on to say that the site is now working hard to refine the recommendation system:
“We are learning a lot about our member’s style and preferences, based on the items they love and the people they follow. We are using this data to develop recommendation system that will hopefully measure up to a personal stylist.”
If you haven’t paid a visit to Fashiolista yet, you owe it to yourself to drop by for some time well spent.
