The new MacBook Pro’s Touch Bar already fell prey to this ridiculous fart app


With the advent of new technology, there’s a short period of time when we all think it’s magical. Big ideas flourish, and everyone tries to make the most out of its potential.

And then people start creating fart apps.

When the iPhone’s App Store launched, it only took a few months for one to appear — and it quickly made a lot of money. And when the Apple Watch became available, history repeated itself. That time it brought along a remote farting feature to fully make use of the Watch’s new possibilities.

So when Apple revealed its new MacBook Pro with Touch Bar, it was only a matter of time.

TouchFart is the easiest way to fire off fart sounds from the comfort of your Touch Bar. It offers three buttons linked to different sound effects, which can be further customized with the accompanying macOS app.

Because the new MacBook Pro isn’t available yet, the only way to try out the app right now is with Xcode 8.1’s Touch Bar emulator, but obviously it won’t come close to the full experience you’ll able to get from the physical device later this year.
