Facebook’s Internet.org app launches in Colombia

Facebook has announced today that it’s making its Internet.org app available in Colombia, starting today.

The news marks the first time the app is available in Latin America, and it will provide access to some of Colombia’s government services for free.

A number of services will be available for free use in the app in Colombia; 1doc3, 24Symbols, AccuWeather, Agronet, BabyCenter, Girl Effect, Messenger, Mitula, Para la Vida, Su Dinero, Tambero, UNICEF, Wikipedia and YoAprendo.
