In a Save the Date note it sent out today, Facebook announced that its 2015 F8 Developer Conference will be held on March 25 and March 26, 2015 – the first time the company has expanded the event to two days.

The company said the expansion comes because the “developer community is bigger today than it ever has been.” By allotting two days for the event, it hopes to “double the number of technical sessions, product demos and onsite experiences for Facebook’s growing developer community.”

Facebook previously said that its next F8 Developer Conference will be held in Fort Mason Center in San Francisco, CA. Interested developers can sign up here to be alerted when registration officially opens in early 2015.
