Good spot by the guys over at Mac Stories. Facebook videos are now HTML 5 compatible and yes that means they’ll play on your iPad and iPhone.
This is a significant move and one that’s bound to displease Adobe who is beginning to see its reign over online video content come to an end.
Just to note, not all videos are HTML 5 supported, currently just recent uploads. We’ve contacted Facebook to clarify as to whether all videos will become compatible too.
