Facebook starts testing Trip Slideshows feature that compiles photos from a recent adventure

After you’ve returned from a trip it’s time to start working on a slideshow of your adventures. Or not. Grabbing all those photos and putting them into a slideshow is a pain. But soon, Facebook might do all that hard work for you.

Reader Alesandro Simić tipped us off to the new Trips Slideshow feature the social network is testing. After returning from Greece, the Facebook app on his iPhone created a slideshow of his trip. According to Simić and others on Twitter, the feature automatically creates the slideshow without any interaction.

The Trip Slideshow feature works on the same principal as the company’s Year In Review feature that it touts at the end of every year. Except, instead of a full year’s worth of photos and posts, you get photos of your most recent trip compiled together.

Here’s a video of the feature in action:

We’ve reached to Facebook about the feature and will update this article when we hear back.
