Facebook Launches Drag-And-Drop Reordering of Albums and Photos

Well it’s about time.

Facebook has just announced the availability of drag-and-drop reordering of Facebook photos and albums, reportedly the number one most requested Facebook Photos feature. The feature allows people to easily reorder the sequence of their albums as well as the order of photos within an album.

The feature was built at a one of Facebook’s notorious all night hackathon’s by Andrey Sukhachev, a developer on the site speed team.

This is yet another major improvement to Facebook Photos since its talent acquisition of Divvyshot, what we called the most gorgeous photo sharing site on the web. The Divvyshot acquisition saw its founder Sam Odio join the Facebook photos team and he and his team have since added high resolution images, a new uploader and more.
