Facebook today updated its iOS app with two new features and the usual overall improvements. You can download the new version now directly from Apple’s App Store.

Here’s the Facebook version 8.0 for iOS changelog:

  • A simple way to see and choose a photo album’s audience.
  • An updated design that makes it easier to post and share on iPad.
  • Improvements for reliability and speed.

That’s quite a short list, even though Facebook is giving this release a major version number bump (last one was 7.0). If you spot something new that isn’t mentioned above, do let us know.
