The Facebook for BlackBerry 10 app received an update today, although in terms of features it’s still far behind its iOS and Android counterparts.
Version 10.4 adds News Feed sorting for the first time, so you can finally filter your stream by Top Stories or Most Recent. Similar to the Facebook for Android app, you can alternate between the two by opening the side menu and tapping the settings icon just to the right of the News Feed selection.
Emoticons are now supported too, so you can quickly send smiley faces in a comment or private chat. The app also offers a check-in map this time around, so you can review your surroundings and verify that the venue you’ve selected is correct. Finally, the updated app now supports photo tags in the image carousel.
Note: The update doesn’t appear to be live just yet, but keep checking the BlackBerry World store as it should be landing today.
