It may be nearly six months away, but Facebook has already announced dates for next year’s big developer conference. F8 will be held in San Francisco on April 12 and 13.
Given it’s so far away, Facebook is providing a suitably vague description of the event:
The conference features new products and a glimpse into Facebook’s future. The two-day event will include a range of sessions with demo stations and the opportunity to speak with Facebook product experts.
Last year, F8 brought a ton of news including turning Messenger into a platform and expanding its video chops. It might be too early for us to accurately speculate on what may be coming next year, but based on current trends, you can expect a further push into video (including VR), more Twitter-like features, improved news access, and maybe even something to do with Vimeo.
Speculation aside, if you want to keep up with the latest official news, you can sign up for official updates at fbf8.com.
