Evernote today expanded Market, a range of premium products and accessories designed to compliment its cross-platform note-taking service, with a series of plastic and wooden desktop organizers.
Admittedly, desk tidies aren’t the most earth-shattering product category, but Evernote’s contributions are, at least, well-designed. The new Pfeiffer Collection was developed with Bay Area furniture designer Eric Pfeiffer and Evernote’s VP for Design Jeff Zwerner. The company says each product was developed “in a matter of months” and is inspired by mid-century modern design.
The range is split into two categories: Bright Bases and Wood Bases. The former (shown above) is a series of soft-touch plastic cups with nooks and crannies for all of your work materials, including pens, business cards and even your smartphone. The base is removable and they’ll be offered in a range of colors, including Evernote Green (of course), Tangerine and Powder Blue.
Wood Bases (shown below) is, as the name implies, a different range that incorporates the classic natural material. You’ll be able to buy an identical slotted cup, but this time with a walnut base, or larger trays and tablet dishes.
Prices start from $19.95 for a plastic slotted cup and rise to $49.95 for the tablet dish made predominantly from walnut. The Pfeiffer Collection will join the existing Evernote Market range, which includes backpacks, laptop sleeves, scanners, wallets and – my personal favorite – business socks.
