Europeans are working on a giant artificial island in the middle of the North Sea. It will be 6 km2 and it will service up to 7,000 wind turbines, to provide green energy for 80 million Europeans. The island is going to feature a landing strip and harbor and will cost $1.45 billion for just the foundation.
