EU Commission announces The Europioneers: The European Tech Entrepreneur of the Year Awards

Today, the European Commission announces The Europioneers, an initiative to celebrate Europe’s finest technology entrepreneurs.

Supported by yours truly, The Next Web, this prestigious technology award will be awarded to Europe’s Tech Entrepreneur of the Year. Giving technology entrepreneurship in Europe visibility on a national, regional and global scale.

The EU Commission believe that entrepreneurs, particularly in the tech sector, can now transform economies, drive innovation and indeed, change communities and industries. This event is a celebration of Europe’s most influential and innovative tech entrepreneurs, The Oscars of European tech if you will.

It’s a privilege and honor to be organizing this prestigious award with the EU Commission. It gives the European tech entrepreneur community the visibility and respect it deserves.
