Tesla is making a big-ol’ semi truck.
Elon Musk has been hinting at this for some time, but it looks like the project if nearly ready for an unveiling, according to Musk himself:

Though a commercial semi-truck isn’t exactly something that the average person will make any use of, it’s not hard to imagine the potential environmental and safety benefits if it’s anything like the company’s previous models. Besides, if Tesla has any chance of convincing gas-guzzling Americans that electric vehicles are the future, it’s with a truck.
For those of us waiting for a something we can actually use in our day-to-day lives, you’ll have to wait a bit longer for a pick-up truck:

And in one last bit of Tesla news, Musk confirmed the upcoming successor to the original Tesla roadster will be convertible:

It seems Tesla fans have quite a lot to look forward to.
