Electronics hobbyist site Adafruit Industries today announced it has added Bitcoin as a payment method for purchases. The feature was actually launched quietly this past the weekend, and since it went smoothly, it’s now official.

Adafruit says it is using BitPay as its payment processor, a popular choice for sites looking to add Bitcoin support.
