These are the devices that will soon be available on EE’s 4G network

Rebranding itself from Everything Everywhere to EE, the UK’s largest mobile operator today launched its new superfast 4G network. Sitting alongside Orange and T-Mobile, the company’s existing brands, the new network will be available in 16 cities by the end of the year.

EE confirmed it will be offering a small range of 4G-enabled smartphones and other mobile hardware on its new superfast network, detailed below:

Samsung Galaxy SIII LTE:

The Samsung Galaxy SIII is the bestselling Android handset at the moment. Boasting a 4.8-inch Super AMOLED display, an 8 megapixel camera and S Voice (the company’s answer to Siri).

HTC One XL:

The One XL is an LTE version of the company’s flagship One X handset. It’s mostly what you would expect; the same 4.7-inch (720p) display, 1080p video recording and Beats Audio integration but will offer super fast connectivity.

Nokia Lumia 920:

Nokia’s brand new handset, announced only last week, is spearheading the Windows Phone 8 operating system. It’s got a new Optical Image Stabilisation system which the manufacturer says will produce much brighter, blur-free images.

EE has confirmed that this device, along with the Lumia 820 (see below), will be exclusive to the network when it launches in the UK. However, it’s likely other networks will have access to the devices at a later date either on their existing 3G services, or on a 4G equivalent once the 4G spectrum has been auctioned off.

Nokia Lumia 820:

The 920’s baby brother doesn’t have the same PureView HD display, but it still packs a bit of punch thanks to its wireless (and interchangeable) charging shell, 8 megapixel camera and updated Nokia apps.

Huawei Ascend P1 LTE:

Another 8 megapixel camera, this time packaged into a device with a 4.3 inch display and powerful dual-core processor.

Huawei E589 Mobile WiFi:

This portable hotspot allows you to connect five devices simultaneously to the EE’s 4G network. The trick is to connect with your existing smartphone, tablet or laptop, giving you superfast speeds for up to 10 hours per charge.

Huawei E392 Mobile Broadband stick:

The dongle equivalent. Download and upload all of your files, on the move, in no time at all. Simple.
