eBuddy Co-founder Onno Bakker announced today at Plugg that eBuddy signed a million dollar plus deal (for one year) with mobile advertising network inMobi to sell part of eBuddy’s mobile inventory.

eBuddy is one of the biggest IM companies worldwide.

Last week Twitter surpassed 10 billion tweets. That is a lot, right…? Now look at the numbers of eBuddy. In January eBuddy processed 15 billion instant messages. 15 billion in one month! Half of those messages, Onno told me, are done on the mobile phone. With the deal with inMoby a part of the mobile views are involved.

eBuddy is cash-flow positive and their mobile endeavors account for 25-30% of their revenue.
