Don’t know where the party’s at? Hurricane Party app makes social networking social

At SXSX I caught up with Rene Pinnell Founder of Hurricane Party app– an iPhone app that allows you to either start a party or see who is partying around you and where. Social networking should be about making us more social, but often it makes us more anti-social because we get lazy with seeing our friends in the flesh as we can see what they’re up to online. The Hurricane Party app encourages us to get out and make more human connections in real life which is no bad thing.
