Doing something interesting at SXSW? Here’s your chance to be interviewed about it on camera

Doing something interesting at SXSW? Here’s your chance to be interviewed about it on camera

SXSWi is nearly here again and geeks around the world are preparing themselves for a week of networking, conferences and parties – lots of parties. SXSW is also a time when startups try to get publicity for themselves, but it can be hard when literally everyone in Austin is crying out for media attention.

Fear not, for The Villa Austin, a showcase home in the upmarket Pemberton Heights neighborhood, is going to be home to a live TV studio that will host discussions featuring top bloggers and thinkers, plus interviews with interesting startups. While most of the sessions have already been planned, there are a few sessions free, and you could be featured. Some of the best content will also feature on The Next Web, so if you manage to get accepted, you could appear on these very pages too.

Sessions streaming live from the Villa will include ‘The Future of Social: Beyond Facebook and Twitter,’ featuring Jeremiah Owyang; ‘An API to Launch a Business,’ featuring Amazon’s CTO, Werner Vogels, and Hermione Way interviewing speakers from the SXSW program.

The Villa Austin is organized by Echo and Tropo. If you’d like to be interviewed, you can fill in this form and you’ll hear back if you’re successful.

See you in Austin!
