Monitoring blood sugar-related illnesses can be an ongoing challenge, but diabetes management platform Dario has today announced a deal with nutritional data provider FatSecret designed to make the process a little easier.
The result of the new partnership is integration of FatSecret’s nutritional information platform within Dario, allowing users to more easily track and manage food intake and the effect on their blood insulin and glucose levels.
Dario users in the UK, Italy and New Zealand can use the integrated FatSecret data feature straight away. LabSyle Innovations, the company behind Dario, says it’s still looking to expand the service to other European countries and the US (pending regulatory approval) sometime this year.
