Football fans, or perhaps that should be Xbox One-owning football fans, rejoice! On June 12, the Xbox One’s dashboard will be updated with a new portal called Destination Brazil, which will give access to a new stat-tracking app designed to run in snapped mode alongside live TV coverage of World Cup matches.

Announced today on the Xbox blog, the Brazil Now app allows you to receive alerts and score updates for your team, as well as allowing you to check out schedules and watch live games with real-time stats, scores and social activity displayed alongside the action.

This info can also be snapped alongside Skype calls, movies or games too, so you never have to miss a single update. The company noted that Xbox Live Gold membership isn’t required to access this new app.

Alongside the new Brazil Now app, the Destination Brazil portal will offer up an all-new series from June 15 called “Every Street United”. In this, notable soccer stars like Thierry Henry and Edgar Davids scout eight countries looking for undiscovered street football stars.

Destination Brazil will also provide access to EA Sports’ FIFA 14 Ultimate Team: FIFA World Cup experience, providing you own the game, of course.
