Design Students: Discover and showcase your work with Student Show by Behance

Design Students: Discover and showcase your work with Student Show by Behance

Behance, a popular platform for sharing and finding creative work, has launched Student Show; a student only gallery that shows off the next generation of creative talent. The service aims to provide design students with the recognition they deserve, while connecting them with peers. It’s also entirely free to join.

For students, sharing your work on a network like Behance’s Student Show is so valuable because it provides extra opportunities to be critiqued. This sort of network also keeps the entire industry connected with young, up-and-coming talent, and should help students find decent jobs by the time they graduate.

Notable features include the ability to browse by undergrad and graduate levels, field of interest and school. Other than Dribble and Forrst, there really aren’t that many places for students to share work in such a simple and slick way. More from Behance:

The Behance Network receives millions of visitors each month, and Student Show is the only program that’s exclusively for students. Upload and promote your work, get feedback from a community of peers, gain exposure, and even get hired.

As a member, your work may be featured, “appreciated,” followed by fellow creatives, and noticed by recruiters. You’ll receive updates on student competitions and exclusive discounts from some of the world’s top creative brands.

Why wait until graduation to get your work out there? Start now.

Behance’s call to action is exactly what every student needs to hear (regardless of major). The design industry is highly competitive, and networking while you learn is not just helpful, it’s absolutely necessary.

As for the rest of us out of school, Behance’s creative professional platform is where we want to be. If you’re looking for work, it’s one of the best ways to get noticed. It’s also an elegant way to share work with clients, and browse inspiring work!
