Datahug announces Sales Closer, a fortune-telling virtual sales assistant

Datahug has today announced the introduction of the Datahug Sales Closer – a tool that will guide salespeople to closing deals.

The new feature can be integrated into CRM systems and will act as a predictive tool for salespeople. This means that it will be possible to determine the likelihood of closing a deal based on real-time data, as well as tracking the stages of deals that are in progress.

Speaking to TNW, Ray Smith, CEO of Datahug, said:

Salespeople currently view CRM systems as a data entry burden, rather than a tool that’s there to help them sell. We’re making the CRM work for sales reps and managers, rather than against them.

According to the company, the Datahug Sales Closer will prioritize sales and improve win rates by 21 percent without having to bombard people with emails. The approach is based on using real-time data rather than looking back at past deals to project what may happen in the future.

The system uses machine-learning analysis to optimize insights based on patterns, so predictions will become more accurate and reliable with use. It will offer salespeople the option to receive ‘Next Best Actions’ suggestions via email or within their CRM system as well as the real-time ‘Deal Scores’.

The new feature is adding a layer of objectivity to the sales world, which is surely something that will be welcomed.
