Codecast is a browser-based code editor that’s perfect for creating HTML and CSS tutorials

We recently talked about how watching people code could be the next big thing in online video. Developer Karim Amrani believes in the trend and has built a simple tool to make it easy for coders to create tutorials in a single browser window.

Codecast lets you code HTML and CSS and view the output side-by-side, negating the need to switch between your code editor of choice and your browser window. Of course, you’ll still need a tool to record your screencasts.
