Cinemax and HBO are coming to PlayStation

Cinemax and HBO are coming to PlayStation

Sony has announced that it will soon add support for Cinemax and HBO to its live-streaming TV service, PlayStation Vue. The channels will be available to watch on all models of the PS3 and PS4 in time for the Westworld premiere on Sunday, October 2.

As these are premium cable channels, you’ll have to pay a little bit extra if you want to have access to them. Each channel carries an individual price tag of $15 that will be automatically added to your monthly PlayStation Vue payment if you choose to subscribe.

However, if it’s only HBO you’re after, and you’re not fussed about the other channels included in your PlayStation Vue package, you may want to take a look at the new standalone HBO Now application. It offers customers unlimited access to HBO content for just $15 per month.
