ChaCha jumps the shark with the new ChaCha.me

I have been a ChaCha fan from the very beginning, from before it was cool to like ChaCha, up until now that is.

ChaCha impressed me so much as a search engine because of the way they harnessed the power of their human guides to provide text answers to anybody at any time on any topic and for free.  It was just like having a personal search engine in your pocket.  You didn’t even need to have a smartphone, WiFi, or a data plan because you just called ChaCha and one of their guides looked up the answer and sent you the answer via text.

Well that was then, and ChaCha.me is now.  Just like with Twitter or Yahoo! Answers, paid, trained guides would no longer answer your questions, anyone could!  Yee-haw! The results, as you might expect, were disastrous. Here’s my evidence:
