Social sharing service Buffer has overhauled its iPhone app for iOS 7 to bring a range of new features and a redesigned social composer window, designed to give a roomier layout and better access to posting options.
In addition to a fresh lick of paint, the full-screen composer window now allows you to see options for posting to different accounts, attaching photos, and customizing the publish time without having to navigate away from writing your message.
Buffer for iOS now offers support for posting to Facebook Groups (as well as Profiles and Pages, as it did previously) and brings a new ‘Re-Buffer’ option in the analytics section to allow users to republish content that has performed well in the past.
Other new posting options include a ‘post next’ feature that moves an update to the top of your Buffer queue. Rounding off the list of new features is the ability to view, delete and invite team members to Buffer accounts – or delete accounts – directly from your phone.
In the next few months, Buffer said it should be ready to roll out a universal iPhone and iPad app, bringing feature parity to its apps for both devices.
