BT Sport streaming is coming to Chromecast in the UK from April 7

BT Sport streaming is coming to Chromecast in the UK from April 7

Update: The BT Sport mobile app for Android and iOS now supports Chromecast streaming.

Good news for sports fans in the UK: BT Sport will be made available to stream via Chromecast.

Google launched Chromecast in the UK and ten new countries just a couple of weeks back, but the BBC was the only broadcaster on board for the UK launch. Now, according to a report in the Financial Times, BT is making its sports channels available to stream directly to your TV via Google’s £30 HDMI dongle.

This means that any BT broadband subscriber will not only be able to watch the English Premier League on their phones, tablets and computers, but they can beam directly to their TV sans cables and sans YouView.
