Global Delight’s fantastic audio equaliser for Mac, Boom 2, is now an even sweeter deal, with a free companion app for iPhone and iPad to control the volume on your computer.
The new app allows you to pair your iPhone with your Mac and control Boom’s volume level, equaliser and other settings. It’s a great addition if you’re using your computer for streaming TV or as a music server.
It features a notification centre widget for quick access to volume controls, or you can jump inside the app to tweak all your audio settings.
Boom 2 Remote also allows you to control what’s playing inside some apps on your Mac, like VLC and QuickTime.
The app for iPhone is free, but you’ll need Boom’s desktop app which costs $14.99.
