Remember six months ago when you couldn’t scroll through Facebook without seeing Bitstrips avatars of your friends in not quite funny comics?

Today, Bitstrips updated its iOS and Android avatar app to support photos. Now you can put your avatar in any photograph or piece of art. No longer will you be constrained by the available scenes in the app; place your cartoon doppelganger in any situation.

Put them in space.

The possibilities are limited only by your imagination and the available poses and facial expressions found in the app.

Oddly, the updated app wouldn’t allow me to choose an outfit for my avatar. So like all street-corner prophets, he shares his wisdom wearing only his underwear.

Get ready for your Facebook feed to once again be filled with cartoon versions of your friends.
