BlackBerry today released BBM for Windows Phone, finally removing the beta tag. You can download the app now directly from the Windows Phone Store.
The company explains that the version 1.01 release fixes a number of bugs and makes performance improvements “that we caught during the beta phase.” One thing you can expect is a shorter app loading time.

BBM for Windows Phone was first released as beta in July to all Windows Phone 8 users. The beta phase thus didn’t last very long, probably because there weren’t very many bugs, or testers.
