Australian Web Week calendar released – have you added your event?

Australian Web Week (AWW) is coming up again and the calendar of events has just been released.

According to the official site:

“Australian Web Week celebrates the best of the Australian web industry: sites and applications, designers and designs, innovative Australians taking it to the world.”

This year AWW will run from October 8th-16th (OK, so I know that’s longer than a week, but it’s close enough) and, as with last year will feature the excellent Web Direction South conference. A lot of that has to do with the fact that AWW is an initiative started last year by Web Directions founders John Allsopp and Maxine Sherrin.

If you have an event that you’d like included in AWW, no matter how large or small (though it has to be in line with the brief for the event) then you can email the organisers on info@webweek.com.au

If you want to keep up to date with any new events that are added you can sign up by email on the site or follow the official AWW feed on Twitter.

I’m really looking forward to seeing how many fantastic events will be on and to seeing all those Aussie web professionals hanging out and sharing ideas for the week.

Now, if they could just work on that logo…
