Chasen won an award from Twilio for using its API in his inventive SMS controlled door lock, which uses an embedded web server connected to a servo motor connected to the door lock.

    To use: Simply send a text message from a white-listed phone number and voila, it opens, which is a cheaper and much savvier than handing out keys. Watch the video here:
